These terms and conditions apply to the contract between us for the supply of goods/services ordered by you and described in the sales order.

2. The price and payment

The price of the goods/services are set out in the sales order

2.1 The balance of the price agreed must be paid 48 hours prior to the delivery date (cleared cheque or credit card). All cheques must be received at least 5 working days before this date. If we are installing/ commissioning your log cabin/hot tub, the installation cost can be paid to the installers on the day.

2.2 Any cheque received shall not be treated as payment until the cheque has cleared.

2.3 Any price agreed for installation for your cabin does not include us levelling the base or removing anything from the area the cabin is to be installed.

3. The Goods

The goods you have purchased are a natural softwood product and some slight variation in knots/splits may occur. This in no way affects the stability or fitness for purpose of the goods.

4. Delivery

4.1 We will endeavour to meet the delivery dates/times quoted to you. We do not guarantee such dates. We will not be liable for any loss or damage you suffer due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

4.2 If there are any access problems in reaching your property, you need to advise us before the agreed delivery date. We use different types of vehicles so notice must be given if a specific vehicle is required.

4.3  Delivery only orders are delivered to the front of your property only.

4.4 Our standard form of delivery is hand off load. We require one or two able bodied people to assist in the unloading. Crane/Hi-ab off loading is available with an additional cost. If we are installing your cabin, we will unload the cabin on the day of installation.

5. Installation

5.1 We strongly recommend a concrete base or concrete strips. Gravel/shingles are suitable though must be compact and level. Ideally, the base needs to be 100mm over size (around each side of the cabin plus the veranda) to allow for the interlocking system. Soil/grass, bricks, pallets and crazy paving are considered as unsuitable bases.

5.2 The size of your building does not allow for roof overhang. When deciding where to site your building, you must allow sufficient room for the roof and allow access for assembling, maintenance and retreating of the building. The minimum space required is 300mm (1ft) all the way around the building although 500mm is preferable.

5.3 Whatever base you decide to use it is imperative that it is firm, flat and level. In instances where a firm, level base is absent, the logs do not interlock correctly which results in a shorter life span. Please ensure the correct base is supplied.

5.4 If the base/access does not meet with our requirements as stated above, the building would be installed/finished by you with no reduction in cost. A surcharge will be applied if we have to return to install or finish the building.

5.5 You will be requested to sign a customer satisfaction form after all installations. This is to ensure you are happy with the services provided and prevent any future discrepancies.

6. Cancellation

If cancellation of the order is received more than 3 days of the order, a cancellation charge of £100.00 will be due for administration purposes.

These terms and conditions do not affect you statutory rights.
